Badminton Horse Trials 8th – 12th May 2024
We are starting the Show Season off at one of the most exciting events in an equestrian’s calendar. Join us at the Badminton Horse Trials from Wednesday the 8th to Sunday the 12th of May.
Celebrating 75 years of the Horse Trials this year and with early indications that the weather is looking better, it show all promise to be a great turnout. Set within the beautiful grounds of the Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire, the Badminton Horse Trials is one of the most acclaimed events in the equestrian world and a top sporting occasion of the year. Expecting well over 170,000 visitors, there is even a Museum this 75th anniversary year showing the archives of past Horse Trails, demonstrating what brings people back year after year.
The trials themselves consist of some of the toughest and most exciting horse-riding events. Horses and riders compete over four days, each day challenging them to a different discipline. From dressage to show jumping the events test agility, discipline, accuracy and elegance. It’s safe to say this is not one to miss, especially this anniversary year.
Truly fun for the whole family, whether you enjoy top sport, fabulous shopping or the chance to connect with like-minded equestrians there is something for everyone. A Fun Fair and the Shetland Pony Grand National for the younger riders, amongst many Other Attractions over the 5 days.
That brings us to the other main highlight: the event’s extensive shopping village, featuring over 500 retailers. The bustling tented village will be home to a huge collection of well-known brands, from equestrian, food, fashion and lifestyle brands. Best of all, Elm of Burford will be there, well-stocked with fabulous pieces by Schoffel, RM Williams, Akubra, Aigle, Ariat, Barbour, Sasta and much more.
